Can't Beet Berries Smoothie Recipe

Nutritious berry smoothie

Ingredients (Serves 2)

Prep time: 5-10 mins

150ml organic almond milk (or your preferred nut milk)

3 good handfuls mixed frozen berries of your choice 

1 small handful frozen banana (sliced)

1 medium cooked beetroot (peeled)

1 tbsp almond butter (or cashew butter)

A dollop of organic Kefir yoghurt

Option: add 2 tsp of your favourite organic pea or hemp protein powder to boost protein intake


Method

Add all ingredients to your blender and blitz together.

Top Tip: let the frozen ingredients thaw slightly before whizzing up to protect your blender

Either pour into 2 medium-sized glasses or take on the go in an airtight glass bottle.

If you're making a smoothie bowl, finish by adding your favourite toppings. We like granola, chia seeds, banana and fresh berries on ours!
